Tryouts:
Each club will hold tryouts for the specific age groups to place players on teams of the same age and same ability as their teammates.

Practices:
Teams will generally practice 2-3 times a week with their coaches to improve on personal and team skills.

Tournaments:
Each team will generally play in a minimum of 10 tournaments per season in hopes of advancing up in their division or standings.
Qualifying tournaments will be held at the start of each season to determine the ranking of each club team. Once every team has qualified, the teams will be placed into divisions within their age group. Regional Tournaments are held at the held of each season to finalize rankings. Regionals are usually a 2 day format and almost always have playoffs.

Each tournament begins with pool play and can possibly be followed by playoffs (depending on your current division). Most tournaments are fairly local (up to 1 hr away) with the exception the optional travel tournaments that each club can choose to enter. A tournament day can be played in either a morning (8am-2pm) or an afternoon pool (2pm-8pm).

 Tournament Order of Play:
1 vs 3 (2 Refs)
2 vs 4 (1 Refs)
1 vs 4 (3 Refs)
2 vs 3 (1 Refs)
3 vs 4 (2 Refs)
1 vs 2 (4 Refs)

Each # represents the seeding of each team in your pool.

Travel Tournaments:
These tournaments can be used by the club for a number of different reasons.
Examples: The Vegas Classic tournament for 17 & 18 age teams are a great way to help the players get recruited by a college team. The Volleyball Festival & Summer Soirée are great end of the season tournaments that allow each club to play against other clubs nationwide. The Junior Olympics are an invitational style tournament where the best teams from every state compete at the highest level. These tournaments are usually decided upon by the performance in other optional local or travel qualifying tournaments.
